I am a designer and designer researcher based in the Netherlands and the UK. After having pursued a Bachelor in Industrial Product Design in the Netherlands, I moved to the UK to pursue a Masters in Industrial Design at Central Saint Martins, in which I deepened my knowledge of the social, ecological, and political implications of the practice.

As I learned more about design, I started seeing its uses and application everywhere which, made me reconsider the values of design and the impact that designers have. In a world, superimposed with design, the line between natural and constructed is blurring, in terms of both physical and social constructions.

This led me to focus my practice on object-based research, figuring out the intentions and interpretations of the made environment by contextualising the cultural setting they exist in. Through research, I aim to go beyond knowing the possibilities of modern-day industry and to understand the natural and cultural relations that situate design practice.
